This instrument measures the emulsificaton of printing inks. Using a three-roll design, this instrument is designed to test the effects of solutions added to ink during use on a press. The simple and familiar design sucessfully simulates the action of a traditional printing press and helps both pressman and quality technicians observe the physical changes of ink in real time as water or other solutions are added during printing. In addition to the simplicity of operation, this instrument is equipped to run duel tests simultneously, allowing side-by-side comparisons to be made between different inks and solutions.
