Rotational Abrasion Tester

Application:

JM-V Rotational Abrasion Tester designed and produced by our company is in accordance with the specification of GB/T1768–Abrasion resistance performance, giving considersation to test abrasion resistance performance of wood decorative overlay– GB/T17657 at same time. It is applicable to determine abrasion resistance performance of various coatings, such as deck paint, floor paint, traffic paint, etc. It is also used to determine abrasion resistance of paper, plastic, textile fabric, decorations, etc. The instrument adopts stepmotor to drive, programmable control and liquid crystal display. It has such advantages as flexible, convenient & easy operation, reliable performance.
It can satisfy various speed demand for users by revising programmable parameter. It can adopt abrading wheel of different materials according to different tested specimens.
Different turntable and abrading wheels sets are available in a range of abrasiveness to suit a wide variety of testing applications. “paint film arrangement”,  “wood arrangement” or  “both arrangement” can be chosen (specify when ordering).

Principle of Operation:

Rotational Abrasion Tester is made up two abrading wheels providing for rotary disk. When rotary disk is revolving, one abrading wheel at the left side rubs from outside to panel surface center, another abrading wheel at the right side rubs from panel surface center to outside. When rotary disk revolving one circle, abrasion mark on the panel surface overlaps, made up two “X” circles intersecting at the panel surface. Adopting this method, its advantage makes panel surface in all directions to accept abrasion, overcoming abrasion resistance meter disadvantage that is reciprocating toward one direction, the test is made more objective for abrasion evaluation.
The instrument adopts stepmotor driven so as to avoid speed’s change because of line voltage’s fluctuation, it greatly improves speed stability, the test is made more commensurable for abrasion evaluation.
