Application:

Clean the base plate and knife with solvent before using, mopping and cleaning with clean tissue. Test sample shall be blended by a spatula. The sample shall be blended homogeneously, then putting sample on the slot of base plate. It is suitable for filling with a little surplus sample on the slot, then holding the spatula with thumb, middle finger of both hand. Horizontally put a spatula on the upper end of base plate, make a spatula vertical on the base plate, with a suitable speed scraping the spatula from a deep slot to a shallow slot, make sample full on the slot, not remain surplus sample on the surface of base plate.

Note:

a) Don’t scratch base plate and surface of spatula.
b) Clean and coat antirusting agent after using.
c) Periodically check a knife-edge and flatness of base plate. If found attrition or unflat, it should be calibrated before it can be used.
