Usage:

1. Before using, adjust instrument to “0” position, if not on “0” position, it should be adjusted “0” on the parallel panel, turn two micrometers, make the bottom of blade and the bottom of two end side plates on the same surface. At that time the readings of two micrometers should be same, “0” on the upper micrometer right to the engraved line which is on the lower part of micrometer.
2. Turn a micrometer, adjust blade to the desired gap, that is, required film thickness. The applicator consists of two end plates joined by a bridge and an adjustable blade below the bridge. Two micrometers extend through the bridge and contact the upper edge of the blade, allowing it to be adjusted upward or downward to control the gap and ultimately the film thickness. Press the both side of applicator by fingers, pull at uniform speed ( approx.150mm/s ), and coating desired thick wet film.
3. After application, it should be cleaned by solvent and wiped it.
4. Readjust the applicator to “0” and put it into box.
